Rangers to announce Ibrox player exit within days, farewell match on the cards v Hearts
Michael Beale has confirmed Rangers will make an announcement on player exits on Tuesday ahead of their SPFL clash against Hearts.
The Gers picked up an impressive 3-1 win over Hibernian on Sunday afternoon to continue their impressive end-of-season form.
With a number of players out of contract, Beale has shared an update on when the club will inform the fanbase on who will be departing. The Gers take on Hearts at Ibrox on Wednesday.

“We don’t think there’s anything majorly wrong [with Raskin]. Hopefully, he’s just caught a nerve and it’ll settle down overnight,” said Beale (BBC Sport, 21 May).
“There’ll be one or two players, whether they start or come on, who will get a chance to say farewell to the fans [against Hearts].
“We’ll make a statement on Tuesday on that, so the fans are aware. Some people in our squad have been unbelievable for Rangers since 2018 and it’s right they get the send-off they deserve.”
Needed
This is needed. For too long, the fanbase have been left in limbo when it comes to the players who could well be leaving Ibrox.
Beale has been far too non-committal when it comes to the likes of Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent. One moment, the Rangers boss is suggesting there’s a chance the duo could stay, the next he’s mooting a major overhaul.
It’s ridiculous. Beale has pulled the wool over the fanbase’s eyes at times, so it’s good to see an announcement in the offing. We all know change is required. There are a number of players within the squad who are well past their sell-buy date at Ibrox.

Morelos departing, along with Kent, will free up a large piece of the budget for Beale to utilise. With a number of new signings reportedly in the offing at Ibrox, it’s good to see the Gers boss get his business done nice and early.
The gap to Celtic is not as big as everyone first thought. Three or four good bits of business could see Rangers challenge the Hoops next season.
In other Rangers news, a Celtic-mad player has tipped the Gers to complete a transfer “coup”.
