Scott Wright to get rare start, John Lundstram to be axed – Rangers predicted XI v Hibernian

Michael Beale is likely to make some changes to his Rangers starting lineup for the Scottish Premiership clash with Hibernian on Sunday (21 May).

Beale claimed his first Old Firm win last week with a 3-0 win at Ibrox and will look to carry that momentum into this game at Easter Road to end the season in the best way possible.

But with several players battling for their future at Ibrox for next season the boss is giving players a chance to show that they can offer something to the team and that could mean we see some changes to the side.

Rangers

Robby McCrorie has been super impressive since coming into the side between the sticks with consecutive clean sheets and he looks likely to keep his place for the rest of the season at least.

James Tavernier and Connor Goldson are guaranteed starters when fit and both will keep their spots to offer experience and leadership to the team. Alongside them on the left John Souttar is looking to make the second centre-back spot his own after his goal against Celtic, while Ridvan should continue in the absence of Borna Barisic.

Nicolas Raskin is the first-choice midfielder in the heart of the team and has earned that spot since arriving in January, and his partnership alongside Ryan Jack has been the key to the better performances of the team.

With Jack likely to stay at the club next season with a new contract, he is likely to be first-choice too and that should see him keep his spot ahead of John Lundstram for this game.

Todd Cantwell is the new star of this team and will keep his spot in the number ten role with the freedom to float out wide and create wherever possible.

Rabbi Matondo has done well with his pace and skill on the left wing in the absence of Ryan Kent and should keep his place in the side, and there should be a place for a rare start on the right for Scott Wright to prove he has something to offer.

Up front Fashion Sakala should continue, with Alfredo Morelos’ Rangers career all but over.

In other Rangers news, Manchester United are looking to hijack an Ibrox transfer by offering a double your money deal.
