Rangers hopeful of progress ‘in days’ after holding talks with several players over summer transfer
Rangers are in talks with several players about a summer transfer to Ibrox and are hopeful of making progress on their signing in the coming days.
The Gers have already agreed deals for Kieran Dowell and Dujon Sterling on a free transfer as Michael Beale looks to bolster his squad for the new season, with several first-team players expected to leave the club at the end of the current campaign.
And according to Daily Record (17 May) the club are already busy at work for the transfer window and are “in talks with two or three targets” currently with hope they can progress this week.

“Rangers are also in talks with two to three targets about a summer switch to Ibrox and hope to progress those over the coming days,” they wrote.
Jack Butland is said to be in advanced talks about joining at the end of his loan at Manchester United, while several others have been linked too.
Progress
Rangers fans demanded that the club get their transfer business done early for next season and they’re certainly delivering at this rate.
Two players are already almost certain to come through the door in Sterling and Dowell at this point, and with several players in talks to join the club could look to do even more business before the current season is even over.

It’s very clear that the club are going to allow a lot of players to leave this summer and that could help to raise funds for their own business but also just free up some space in the squad.
Beale knows what he wants and knows now what he needs to do to be able to get that done, and it seems as though he is ready to be ruthless with it.
It’s going to be a hectic summer at Ibrox, and it’s seemingly already underway before the season is even officially over.
In other Rangers news, a report has shared an update on the pursuit of £4.4m ace Luis Palma.
