Top half Bundesliga sides keen on transfer for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is reportedly on the radar of a number of clubs as he will be a free agent this summer.

According to Fussball Transfers journalist Dominik Schneider, clubs from the top third of the Bundesliga are in talks with the representatives of the Colombian.

Apart from that, he’s also wanted by Fenerbahce and Sevilla among other top European sides.

Schneider wrote on Twitter, “Numerous clubs (among others Fenerbahce + FCSevilla as reported) in contact with Alfredo Morelos. Clubs from the upper third of the Bundesliga table are interested in the forward of RangersFC. Contract expires, 26-year-old is free in summer.”

There he goes

Morelos has been a stellar performer for Rangers but his conduct has left a sour taste in the mouths of most Rangers fans.

Had he gone about his exit the right way and made it clear that his ambitions and those of the club aren’t the same, they would’ve seen it in a different light.

However, to throw tantrums and put up antics during international breaks only showed that he did not respect the club and what it meant to wear the blue Rangers jersey.

Rangers

The only regret about his exit will be the fact that the club failed to get any transfer fee from him as they very well could’ve, given the interest shown in him.

La Liga and Bundesliga sides make more money than teams in the SPFL and they could not only afford a decent transfer fee but also up the 26-year-old’s wages.

However, it’s for Gers to regret their decisions of the past and hopefully, sign someone good enough to replace him.

In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
