Rangers transfer news as bid on table for Luis Palma, Aris FC response shared
Rangers have placed a new bid for Aris FC attacker Luis Palma in the last 24 hours, according to La Prensa.
The online outlet has reported on its website [15 May] that the Bears have offered £3.8million for the Honduran sensation, but have already been told to pay more.
Aris FC are said to have asked for £4.3million, with the difference down to the thousands as Michael Beale looks to sign off on a marquee deal for the summer.
Rangers certainly need to be wary of the competition though as they look to push this one through quickly.
Gent, Anderlecht, Leeds, Burnley and Dinamo Kyiv are five of the other clubs named in the latest update as European clubs who want to get a deal over the line.
On top of that, MLS clubs are also starting to watch over developments with Palma seemingly having the choice of whichever club he wants to join once the season is over.

Closing in.
The difference is very minuscule in the modern market, and if Rangers are serious about their rebuild, then this £500,000 needs to be coughed up immediately.
John Bennett and his shareholders will be looking to make a statement in their first transfer window in charge at Ibrox, and this would be the perfect way to start it.
With free transfers for the likes of Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling and Jack Butland on the cards, they are offering strong experience south of the border and the United Kingdom.
Throw in some flair on top of that in the form of Palma and another couple of big-money names, and Beale could have some serious weapons available to him next season.
It is refreshing to see Rangers conduct their business so early though, rather than waiting until the end of the window where they may be forced to rush through deals.
All eyes are on this one, it seems to be getting closer.
In other Rangers news, the club are also aiming to push through another expensive transfer
