Rangers attacker Josh McPake in transfer limbo as Queen's Park pull plug on deal

Rangers attacker Josh McPake could reportedly leave the club for good in the summer but is currently facing an uncertain future.

According to the Daily Record [15 May, 17:59], Queen’s Park were in talks to sign him in January but have now pulled the plug on that deal.

This comes even before the decision of head coach Owen Coyle to step down on Monday, 15 May, with Gers now set to look at options for the wide player to relaunch his career or leave.

If a deal cannot be agreed, he will follow Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent out of the door.

Let him go

Even on loan, there had been reports of the 22-year-old having disciplinary issues and that’s not the sort of behaviour Michael Beale will tolerate at the club.

He wants players disciplined and committed to the end goal of making this side the best in Scotland.

McPake’s been given countless opportunities to go out and prove himself in the past but for some reason or another, it’s never seemed to work out.

This appears to be the final straw and it looks like there’s no coming back from it with him all but set to bid farewell to the club.

If they do want to give him another chance, it will be another contract that he will need to be offered, and currently, he does not seem worthy of that.

There are hungrier players waiting on the sidelines who have proven themselves for the reserve sides and they need to be given their chance.

In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
