David McCallum could leave Rangers this summer amid Queen’s Park vacancy
Rangers B team coach David McCallum could reportedly seal his permanent exit from Ibrox at the end of the season.
According to Football Scotland [15 May], he may consider moving to Queen’s Park amid their managerial vacancy.
It’s also been hinted that the fact that he worked there as Academy Manager may make it a welcome role for all parties involved.

Makes sense
The B team role is always a temporary one as coaches tend to use it as stepping stones to further establish their managerial careers.
It’s important for them to get that first push into coaching and the fact that they are in the B team means that the pressure is far lesser.
At the senior level, expectations are higher and failure to meet the expectations often results in managers getting sacked.

McCallum has done a decent job for the B team and it remains to be seen how he takes up a number one position any time in the future.
Any challenge in Scottish or English football will be tempting for him and he’ll surely want to prove he’s got what it takes to climb up the ranks and make it to the top of the game.
Rangers will need to look for another coach regardless as it seems like he’s going to be on his way out at the end of the season.
In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
