Rangers vs Celtic: Sky Sports pundit has ‘strange feel’ after hearing what Ange Postecoglou has alluded to
Kenny Miller is concerned about the prospect of Rangers losing to a changed Celtic side after hearing Ange Postecoglou hint at a lot of changes.
With nothing tangible in terms of points riding on the outcome of this game it is likely that both managers will shuffle the pack somewhat, but with the Hoops having the title and four head-to-head wins in the bag it is far more of a luxury for the Australian.
And former striker for both sides Miller has admitted the clash at Ibrox is starting to have a “strange feel” and is worried where Rangers fans will be left after the game ends if they have lost again to a side playing their squad players.

The Sky Sports pundit said, as per the Daily Record: “The longer this programme goes on and Ange alluding to it (potential changes), it becomes a dangerous game for Rangers. You can’t get beat by a team that has made five or six changes.
“Where are we going to be, Rangers fans, at 14:15 tomorrow if they have not got three points. So it does become different, although there will be changes in the Rangers team as well.
“It’s starting to have a strange feel. But I do believe it’s probably more important from a Rangers perspective they get three points.”
Pitfall
Miller is right that there is far more for the Light Blues to lose than their counterparts, because defeat by a second team is never a good look.
If Celtic can likely lift a domestic treble while eliminating Rangers from each competition and avoiding defeat in six meetings it will provide precisely zero encouragement for next season.
There has already been relatively little, but it is possible to look on the bright side and consider that some positive performances in Old Firm derbies this season could have racked up at least three wins and possibly put the club on course to defend the Scottish Cup if it wasn’t for calamitous self-inflicted errors, and constantly allowing the same goal to be scored over and over.

A solid win in the last clash of the season would at least give Michael Beale something to build on with his new set of players heading into his first full campaign as manager.
The fans would also be spared a full summer of hearing about a year without a derby win, and while there is more for the Gers to lose there is also more to gain, because from top spot the only way is down for Postecoglou but Beale is trying to build something.
He needs to know who he can rely on for next year, and should have a host of new arrivals untainted by recent experiences to add in for when the pressure is really on again at the start of next season.
In other Rangers news, one key Ibrox ace’s contribution in Old Firm derbies has been dismissed as “nothing”.
