Bright future
Rangers could lose several first-team stars this summer, and while Michael Beale looks certain to find replacements in the transfer window, it remains an exciting time to be a youngster at Ibrox.
Not all youth players will get a look in anytime soon, but a handful may just force their way into Beale’s pre-season plans, and even into his plans from now until the end of the campaign.
Apart from an upcoming clash with fierce rivals Celtic, there is precious little to play for at Rangers this season, meaning the manager could give himself a taste of the future by bringing some youngsters into the first-team squad.
Unlike a handful of senior players who are simply winding down their time in blue due to the impending expiry of their contracts, young players would be up for the challenge of fighting for Beale on the pitch in the weeks to come.
In other Rangers news, the Gers are readying a €7million (£6million) bid to sign one international striker amid the likely summer exit of Antonio Colak.
