Ryan Kent informs Rangers he wants to leave as behind-the-scenes conversation emerges from Ibrox
Ryan Kent has told Rangers that he wants to leave the club at the end of the season, according to a report from Turkish outlet Fanatik.
As stated, Kent has been linked with a move to Istanbul giants Fenerbahce following reports that he has already signed a deal to play at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
Rangers boss Michael Beale stated on Friday that new contracts had not been offered to the 26-year-old or Alfredo Morelos.

The attacker was absent from the squad against Aberdeen on Sunday, after Beale mentioned that he had been carrying a knock.
He has interest from Burnley and Leeds in England, as well as the latest news from Turkey.
“It was learned that Ryan Kent, who allegedly signed a preliminary contract with Fenerbahçe, said to his club Rangers, ‘I have not signed an official contract with any club yet. However, I do not intend to continue here’,” stated the Fanatik report.

One direction for Kent
Despite the speculation, there is no information to verify the quote that has been attributed to the outgoing Rangers man.
At this stage, it appears clear that he is bound for the exit and Ibrox and that is what is in the best interests of the player and club.
It is disappointing that Kent’s Rangers career ends in this way, as well as no return on the significant £7.5m fee [Sky Sports] that was paid to Liverpool in 2019, but his form has just not been good enough.
He is capable of so much more, as shown most notably on the European stage and that is what has the likes of Burnley interested. That will surely be the direction of travel for Kent, rather than the uncertainty and upheaval that would be created with a potential move to Turkey.
Coming into the peak years of his career, he should be able to command a hefty contract in the Premier League to set him up for the next stage of his life and career.
In other Rangers news, a £3.4m international player investment is on the line at Ibrox following a confirmed update.
