Ross Wilson wants Nottingham Forest to hire Craig Mulholland after Rangers exit development
Ross Wilson wants Craig Mulholland to join him at Nottingham Forest upon his exit from Rangers, according to Alan Nixon.
Academy Director Mulholland, 53, announced his decision to leave the Gers earlier this month.
And Wilson, who quit as Rangers sporting director last month to join Forest, wants Mulholland to make the same move this summer.

“Nottingham Forest supremo Ross Wilson wants his old pal Craig Mulholland to join and sort out the youth side,” Sun journalist Nixon wrote on Patreon.
“Mulholland has just left Rangers where he was academy director and could be snapped up by Forest.
“Gary Brazil is set to leave his post after almost a decade, a successful period when many kids came through the ranks.”

Summer shake-ups
Nottingham Forest and Rangers are two clubs that have experienced major behind-the-scenes changes in recent times.
And those changes look set to continue this summer, with the background incomings and exits to be combined with player incomings and exits.
Forest’s success in the transfer window will, of course, depend on whether or not they can secure their Premier League safety.
The billionaire-owned club’s flirtation with relegation is perhaps part of the reason that Wilson wants Mulholland to join the club, given how they will need to produce some academy talent as soon as possible, as it will be hard to convince new players to join if they are demoted to the Championship.
Moreover, many high-profile names could leave, the majority of which have only joined the club.
As for Rangers, much of the dealings look set to be left to manager Michael Beale, who is seemingly one of the last men standing at the club due to all the outgoings of his background staff.
In other Rangers news, one pundit has urged the club to be more like Celtic in the transfer window as they’re letting Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos leave for free.
