Rangers takeover news could lead to £175m+ jackpot at Ibrox
It has been yet another chaotic week in the Rangers boardroom at Ibrox.
After John Bennett stepped into the role as Chairman to replace Douglas Park weeks ago, the exodus has continued with Andrew Dickson the latest to move on in recent days.
Not only have many of these figures left, but takeover rumours have continued to shadow over the top of Ibrox with new investment a big question mark.

David Edgar of the Heart and Hand Podcast addressed those rumours and questioned their validity, but these things don’t just spring out of nowhere, and they have to be looked at.
The official club partner admitted that it wouldn’t be as simple as one purchase, with numerous shareholders needing to be bought out of their positions.
Just how much would that cost?
Finance Expert Dan Plumley has exclusively told Ibrox News that Rangers could be worth anything from £175million to £200million depending on individual share prices.
That would be huge for the club if one party was able to throw that money at a takeover, moving away from the numerous shareholder policy that has been at Ibrox for what feels like forever.
Kyle Fox had the view to take full control, but the American was hounded away by Douglas Park, and although he does still hold his shares, he has given up his boardroom influence.
Could that change things?
It’s no surprise to see the rumours come in the middle of this boardroom exodus where the changes are coming thick and fast with people leaving nearly every other day.
No one is expecting things to happen immediately, but the door appears to be opening for change and big change at that, whether that will be a takeover, time will tell.
