Malik Tillman wants Rangers exit after May development at Ibrox – pundit
Kenny Miller believes Rangers forward Malik Tillman “might see his future” elsewhere after the 20-year-old attacker returned to Bayern Munich.
Michael Beale revealed that Tillman would miss the remainder of the 2022/23 season after picking up a knock in the Gers’ Scottish Cup semi-final defeat to Celtic.
Miller has since claimed that the American international may look to move elsewhere, with Rangers potentially unable to pay £5million to make his move permanent.

“It sounds that way. If you jump back a few months there was talk of triggering that option and that they want to pursue a potential deal,” said Miller (Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, quoted by the Daily Record, 6 May).
“I just think the boy might see his future elsewhere. That would be my gut instinct on it. I think it’s a big chunk of money.
“I think he is a wonderful player and Michael sees him every day in training, the potential he has got and the things he could accomplish. I just think it’s a lot of money for Rangers to be shelling out if it’s £5million.”
Inevitable
With Tillman returning to Bayern Munich, it does feel as if his time as a Rangers player has come to an end. The American has been an excellent addition, but, realistically, are the Gers going to cough up the transfer fee? The answer is probably no.
It would be a huge mistake. The 20-year-old has shown his worth during the 2022/23 season, and, due to his tender age, there’s a strong chance he would develop further and earn the club a pretty penny in the future. Nevertheless, this injury will probably cast further doubt over any potential move back to Ibrox.

It’s clear Beale has a huge job on his hands during the summer window. The Light Blues boss could well be eager to utilise his budget elsewhere. Saving £5million on Tillman could allow for Beale to land another player for a better price. At present, it’s certainly a guessing game when it comes to Rangers’ summer transfer plans.
In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
