Aris manager issues transfer verdict on Luis Palma with Rangers ready to table £4.4m bid

Aris manager Apostolos Terzis claims that attacker Luis Palma is priceless to the club amid links to Rangers this summer.

Honduran newspaper Diario La Prensa reported in its print edition [29 April, pg 227] that Gers will launch a £4.4million bid for the 23-year-old.

It’s also understood that Premier League giants Manchester United have also sent scouts to track.

Rangers

Discussing his future, Terzis said, via the Daily Record, “Luis has done that all season. He has been a huge player for us. We know there has been a lot of interest in him and it’s not surprising. Hopefully, playing in Europe next season will persuade him to stay with us.

“It’s our fifth season in a row we will have qualified for Europe and that’s the first time that has happened. And a large part of that is down to our attacking play. We now have two games left against AEK Athens and Panathinaikos and I hope we can end the season on a high.”

Snap him up

This has the makings of being a pursuit done to replace Ryan Kent who looks to be edging closer towards the exit door with each passing week.

The Englishman appears to have no interest in signing a new deal at Ibrox which makes his departure all but certain this summer.

Palma appears to be the perfect replacement for him on the left flank and he’s also got an end product so can offer a goal threat.

Rangers

In the league season, he bagged seven goals in 20 games but has taken it up a notch in the playoffs with four goals and two assists in eight matches.

This shows that he’s a man for the big occasion and does not shy away from taking matters into his own hands for his team.

With United also looking at him, there’s no denying that he’s a good player but Rangers need to act quickly or he might go elsewhere.

In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
