Ryan Kent replacement Luis Palma to cost Rangers seven-figure fee amid transfer interest from England and Turkey

Aris winger Luis Palma who is reportedly a transfer target for Rangers is now drawing interest from Turkish and English clubs as well.

According to the Scotsman [02 May], the Honduras international, who’s having an “Excellent” season in Greece is likely to cost seven figures this summer.

The 23-year-old has bagged 11 goals this season and has been dubbed as a replacement for Ryan Kent, whose contract runs out at the end of the season.

Makes sense

It’s imperative for Rangers to replace Kent with someone young and capable and Palma does appear to fit the bill for them.

He’s a talented winger in his early 20s and is only going to get better with time so it may be the ideal moment to snap up his services.

Interest in him is only going to rise in the coming months and Gers know that they do not have the financial muscle to compete with teams in the Premier League.

He surely would not mind the move as it’s a step up from the Greek league and he can also be offered European football at Ibrox.

It remains to be seen if Michael Beale does want him over some of the other targets as it’s going to be a long process before they can settle on the players they want.

Not signing a Kent replacement will be akin to shooting themselves in the foot and Rangers cannot afford to make these mistakes in the future.

In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
