Rangers duo Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos may never player for club again – Pundit

Tam McManus believes that Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos may have kicked their last football for Rangers as both look set for a summer exit.

The Gers attacking duo’s contracts at Ibrox run out at the end of the season and none of them appear any close to re-signing with the club.

Both Kent and Morelos started in the 1-0 defeat against Celtic on Sunday, 30 April, a result that ensured Rangers will end the season trophyless.

Speaking on the PLZ Soccer Show, McManus said, “I would chase the two of them now. They’re gone. They might not kick another ball for Rangers.

“They’re not going to be there next season so why not play players (that will)? I think he (Beale) will. I don’t think we’ll see them again.”

Show who’s boss

Michael Beale has to send a clear message to all the players that nobody can hold the club to ransom once their contracts are running out.

Morelos and Kent are arguably their two best players but if they’re not committed to the club, the sooner they’re out, the better it will be for the dressing room.

The Colombian has been a clinical goal scorer for the Ibrox club and has been one of the first naems on the team sheet when available.

Rangers

Kent, has made over 200 appearances for the club and on is his day can terrify even the best of defenders.

However, of late, those moments have been few and far in between and it’s best he’s no longer part of any matchday squad, let alone the eleven.

Beale can give some of the yougnsters a chance to prove themselves with no pressure at all, given that the league is a foregone conclusion.

In other Rangers news, the club are clearly playing a sick joke with their supporters after they made an announcement about a senior player.
