Michael Beale shares 'massive' Rangers transfer update in aftermath of Celtic semi-final loss

Michael Beale has revealed this summer will see a “massive” change at Rangers after he saw his side lose 1-0 to Celtic in their Scottish Cup semi-final clash.

Jota’s first-half goal saw the Hoops to another victory over the Gers and put them on the brink of a domestic treble.

Talking after the game, Beale claimed he is looking at a significant change during the off-season, with a number of players coming into the club.

Summer will see the biggest change Rangers have seen in years, summer is needed quickly,” said Beale (Four Lads Had A Dream, Twitter, 30 April).

“There will be a massive change.”

Beale has certainly laid down his intentions. It’s clear the defeat against Celtic on Sunday didn’t sit right with the Rangers boss. Jota’s goal was beyond belief. Four or five Light Blues players could well have been blamed and you simply cannot gift goals away in Old Firm clashes.

Games against Celtic need to be decided by moments of quality, not mistakes. In the past two fixtures against the Bhoys, they’ve given goals away. The most worrying aspect is that it’s senior players making errors, with James Tavernier at fault for the only goal on Sunday.

Beale needs players he can truly trust and unfortunately, there are far too many members of the Light Blues’ squad who fail to turn up on the big occasions and make the right decisions.

Hopefully, the off-season will see the Rangers boss finally mould a team that is capable of beating Postecoglou’s side on a regular basis. He still needs to notch his first win over the big Aussie.

In other Rangers news, alarm bells are ringing loudly for this player at Ibrox after what was said on social media.
