Ross Wilson may have made one last transfer blunder before leaving Rangers behind

Ross Wilson finally got the message in April after months of protests as he left Rangers behind to move back into the Premier League with Nottingham Forest.

The continuous transfer blunders were too much to take in the end, with the likes of John Souttar, Ben Davies and Ridvan Yilmaz the latest to not hit the ground running.

Could it be possible though that Wilson made yet one more blunder this month before the went running for the hills? His last signing will go down as Thompson Ishaka.

The speedy attacker follows the likes of Juan Alegria to join up to the B team structure after his trial, but the Colombian has already moved on after making zero impact.

Ishaka has certainly not had the best of starts, though.

The 18-year-old signed on the dotted line on 31 March, with Rangers said to have won the race ahead of the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea who were linked in the past.

Despite those glowing reviews, Ishaka has not even been around the first team, a first team that has virtually nothing to play for in the Scottish Premiership under Michael Beale.

On 22 April, only weeks after getting his contract, Ishaka lined up against East Stirlingshire only to be sent off for an attempted headbutt – not exactly smart after the controversy surrounding that at Ibrox recently.

It came after a foul he committed himself, showing that he has a lot to learn before he can make it at Auchenhowie, and potentially pushing him further back in his progress.

Wilson signed off on the transfer alongside Beale likely, and if this recklessness continues in the lower ranks, you are never going to see him in the first team any time soon, that’s for sure.

Just when you thought you had seen the back of him, Wilson may have left us with one last blunder.
