Bradford City want to sign Rangers sensation Lewis Budinauckas in summer transfer window
Young Rangers goalkeeper Lewis Budinauckas is reportedly a summer transfer target for fourth-tier English side Bradford City.
According to the Daily Record [25/04, 14:13], the League Two club want to bring in a young developmental goalkeeper as they plan on strengthening that department.
Mark Hughes’ scouting team have put in rave reviews of the 20-year-old who represents the B Team at Ibrox.

Set to leave?
The Scottish goalkeeper’s deal at Ibrox expires at the end of the season and there does not appear to be a new contract in sight for him.
Given the interest from Bradford City, two-time league winners in their history, and working for a manager like Hughes, someone who’s featured at the very top for Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona, may be a prospect too hard to turn down.
Budinauckas will also have an easier pathway to first-team football there and that will also be playing on his mind.

He seems unlikely to break into the Rangers setup any time soon so it makes the world of sense to let him leave this summer.
His performances in the Lowland League this season haven’t been that great either as he’s conceded 45 goals in 26 appearances and has just kept six clean sheets.
Surely, if Michael Beale is looking for a new number one, the 20-year-old will not be featuring high on his list.
In other Rangers news, the club may now approach a sporting director who built a Champions League winning team and can hire him for free.
