Official Rangers partner hits out on Twitter after watching Aberdeen defeat again
Heart and Hand have slammed Rangers failings at both ends of the pitch, following Sunday’s lacklustre 2-0 defeat to Aberdeen.
David Edgar made his thoughts clear after watching the game back, with the 2-0 loss giving Gers manager Michael Beale plenty to ponder. There is not enough control on the percentage of chances at either end of the pitch.
The boss stated that his team played well in spells but “weren’t good enough” in both boxes with numerous decisions needing to be made ahead of next season.

That was the crux of the matter for Edgar, with the latest example of pretty patterns of play counting for nothing.
“Saw a lot of valid criticism after yesterday but watching game back it’s hard not to keep coming back to two simple facts,” he posted to Twitter.
“We concede too high a percentage of chances faced and we don’t score a high enough percentage of chances created.”
Easier said than done
As outlined, the 2-0 loss at Pittodrie has resulted in a lot of justified flak after the game but it was more about how the team lost, rather than the defeat itself.
The shortcomings are very visible but it is easier said than done in terms of rectifying the problem, but that is the scale of the task ahead for Beale and his coaching team.
Rangers will need an excellent performance against Celtic in Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden to lift the supporters and the whole club, otherwise it will be an extremely downbeat end to the season.
Five league games remain but the upcoming Scottish Cup clash is the only show in town. That has been made even more apparent after the Aberdeen setback which means that Celtic can clinch the title in their next league fixture.
All roads lead to Hampden, in what is effectively the final in many ways.
In other Rangers news, the club is set for a cash windfall as Ross McCrorie closes in on £2m exit to Bristol City.
