Four Lads blown away by ‘exceptional’ Todd Cantwell after Rangers 5-2 win v St Mirren
Rangers official partner Four Lads Had A Dream were left blown away by the “exceptional” performance of Todd Cantwell in their 5-2 win over St Mirren on Saturday [15 April].
Despite twice going ahead and being pegged back, Michael Beale’s side came through eventual 5-2 victors at Ibrox, thanks to a late Alfredo Morelos brace and Arfield’s goal.
However, the Gers had Cantwell to thank for his all-action showing as he scored once and assisted two more in their comfortable win.
And the Rangers partners Four Lads could not hold back in their praise for the former Norwich City man.
Taking to their Twitter account [15 April] after the match, they tweeted: “Todd Cantwell exceptional throughout.”
Rejuvenated
After struggling down at Norwich City over the last couple of seasons, the move to Rangers seems to have ignited Cantwell’s career back to life and he looks a man rejuvenated after this latest showing.
It is now two goals and four assists in 10 Scottish Premiership games for the former England Under-21 midfielder since his move, again highlighting just how much of an impact he’s making in Michael Beale’s squad this season.

The playmaker has been one of Rangers standout performers over the last couple of months, but his showing against St Mirren was next level.
Some of their football on Saturday was simply stunning and it was the 25-year-old at the heart of everything good about the Gers side against a confident St Mirren.
With Rangers set to undergo a major rebuild this summer, Cantwell has without a doubt, proven that he will be one of Beale’s MVP footballers in the near future. Great performance, great player.
In other Rangers news, the club may now approach a sporting director who built a Champions League-winning team and can hire him for free.
