Rangers predict £1m in additional income per year amid recent New Edmiston House accounts reveal

Rangers reportedly are predicting additional windfall of £1million per year from the New Edmiston House after the accounts reveal.

According to Rangers Review [12 April], the £12million spent on the structure has led to discomfort among fans with some questioning the timing of it.

However, it’s something that has been viewed as a revenue builder for the future as the club look to increase their income sources.

Need to do more

The NEH investment is a significant chunk and it will at least take a decade and a half for those costs to be recovered.

It’s certainly not going to happen before 12 years and then the running costs will be another expense borne by the club.

In the short term, this is not ideal and if they are planning for the long term then that’s well and good but they need to think of ways how to make money instantly as well.

It remains to be seen that with Douglas Park leaving the club if there are any changes in the way that things are run at Ibrox.

It’s pretty evident that Rangers are not doing enough off the pitch to compete with Celtic and that’s what has led to the gulf between the two sides.

Things need to change quickly before this gap grows even larger and fans will be hoping that John Bennett has some fresh ideas to revolutionise this club.

In other Rangers news, another Ibrox exit may be on the cards after a major revelation recently which could force the clubs to part ways with a senior player.
