Additional behind-the-scenes income source at Rangers set to launch this summer
Rangers project New Edmiston House is seen by the club as an income generator for the future as there have been millions spent on its development.
According to Rangers Review journalist Jonny McFarlane, a sports bar will be opening in the former retail space while gigs and events will keep the facility in motion for most days of the year.
It’s believed that these will be launching in the coming months before autumn kicks in.
Via Twitter, McFarlane wrote, “I’m told it will be ready for late summer.”
Good news
Fans always like to experience new things at their clubs and if it’s going to help generate revenue in the future, it’s always going to be a welcome addition.
The New Edmiston House developments have been frowned upon by a certain chunk of the fanbase and their qualms are understandable.
Rangers aren’t known to be business geniuses and have made a lot of questionable financial decisions in the past so the scepticism is understandable.

Hopefully, they live up to the deadline of the summer and things are in place by the time the next season begins.
In many ways, the current campaign has been written off by most fans with a cup triumph the only saving grace in a pretty disastrous season so far.
Michael Beale has promised that this summer will be good in terms of bringing in fresh faces so there are a few things to look forward to for next season.
In other Rangers news, another Ibrox exit may be on the cards after a major revelation recently which could force the clubs to part ways with a senior player.
