Official club partner bites back at Michael Stewart after comments on Rangers letter to SFA amid Alfredo Morelos disallowed goal v Celtic
Official club partner Heart and Hand podcast have fired back at Michael Stewart after his comments on Rangers writing to the SFA about Alfredo Morelos’ disallowed goal against Celtic.
The club wrote to the SFA to demand an explanation for why the Colombian striker’s early goal was disallowed despite VAR images showing there was no foul.
BBC pundit Stewart reacted angrily on his personal social media about the situation, criticising Rangers for their “level of entitlement” and claiming he must have missed letters from other clubs with similar complaints.
But responding to those comments, Heart and Hand pointed out that he has indeed missed the comments and fired back claiming that it’s his job to know these things.
“You have missed them, yeah,” they wrote on their personal Twitter account (11 April).
“Two-thirds of the teams in the league have [sent a letter to the SFA]. It’s only your job to know this stuff, right enough.”
Nonsense
What a shock. Michael Stewart talking just for the sake of it when it comes to an incident involving Rangers.
No admittance of the fact that the officials got an absolutely massive decision wrong in a huge game that could have altered the result, just complaining that we want answers.

There is no entitlement, it’s just a wish for the officials to be better and to understand what went against us because that decision may have cost us three points.
Stewart clearly has a dislike for Rangers and he’s entitled to that, he’s far from the only one. But as a professional he needs to be unbiased and by trying to single us out he’s made himself look a fool.
Thankfully Heart and Hand were on target to let him know about it too, and now everyone can see just how rubbish he spouts when it comes to our football club.
