Michael Stewart breaks silence on Twitter with new Rangers attack after Old Firm v Celtic

Michael Stewart has taken aim at Rangers once again after they demanded explanations from the Scottish FA after the 3-2 defeat against Celtic on Saturday 08 April.

The BBC pundit insisted that the entitlement of the Bears is simply “incredible” and mentioned that other clubs have not done the same despite being in similar positions.

The SFA insisted that Kevin Clancy had made the correct decision to disallow Alfredo Morelos’ goal that would have put Rangers ahead in the Old Firm.

Writing on his personal Twitter account, Stewart did not hold back when addressing the situation and the drama that has unfolded since the game.

“Rangers level of entitlement is incredible,” he wrote.

“Writing letters wanting explanations and apologies for one perceived mistake. I must have missed the numerous other clubs letters this season. St Johnstone must surely have done it after their game at Ibrox.”

Get a grip.

Stewart rarely speaks out on matters at Ibrox after his very public fallout, but once again, he has managed to miss with his intended clarity on the developments.

The clear issue here is the incompetence of the Scottish FA and their officials, that just seem to be getting worst with each passing week, no matter who is playing.

VAR has been introduced, yet more wrong decisions are being made – how can that be?

Technology is there to help the officials, but it is only making it very clear that they cannot be trusted and sooner rather than later, others are going to be drafted in.

Morelos and Alistair Johnston were in a real battle in the box, with both players holding each other, that is when we remember that football is actually a contact sport.

Clancy had no hope at Parkhead full of home fans and zero away allocation, he was always going to make that call once one or two shouts came from the Celtic players.

Stewart is better off staying out of these debates, he has missed once again.

In other Rangers news, another Ibrox exit may be on the cards after a major revelation recently which could force the clubs to part ways with a senior player.
