Official Rangers partner fumes at Alfredo Morelos disallowed goal in 3-2 Old Firm loss v Celtic
Official Rangers partner Four Lads Had A Dream let rip on referee Kevin Clancy after his “total joke” of a decision to rule out a goal by Alfredo Morelos against Celtic.
El Buffalo tapped in at the back post early on in what would have given Rangers the lead at Parkhead, only for the goal to be disallowed for a “foul” despite replays showing there no issues.
And official club partner Four Lads were furious about the decision by the officials, labelling it “genuinely atrocious” on their official Twitter account (8 April) during the game.
“That’s genuinely atrocious,” they wrote.
“Morelos shirt is getting pulled and a tiny nudge he gives against us.
“Clancy is a total joke.”
Shocking
It’s absolutely mental that the decision was given against Rangers and we all know that had it the game been at Ibrox it would never have even been questioned.
We all knew Clancy would make things even harder, and there’s no doubt that our performance on the day simply wasn’t good enough overall.

But it’s crazy to think that these moments don’t effect games and outcomes and we could easily have come away with all three points had it been allowed to stand.
Officials have got things wrong all season, and even the use of VAR hasn’t helped the officials to improve properly. It’s a joke that these mistakes are still allowed to happen.
It’s just never a foul, and Morelos should feel hard done by just as much as the team are. It’s hard to think that his reputation hasn’t preceded him here and gone against him with the officials and reaction to the incident.
In other Rangers news, a twice-capped international goalkeeper is a target for Michael Beale.
