Douglas Park exit will not effect Rangers transfer plans at Ibrox

Transfer plans at Rangers will not be affected by the recent surprise exit of Douglas Park in the upcoming summer, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.

The newspaper has reported in its print edition [08 April, pg 111], that the new man at the top, John Bennett will continue the overhaul from Michael Beale.

Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin arrived in January, with more signings expected after exits once the current season has come to an end.

Writing in their latest update, the Scottish Daily Mail reported: “Having started his overhaul with the additions of Nicolas Raskin and Todd Cantwell in January, Beale is already working on transfer plans for the summer.

“They are not affected by a new man at the top.”

Rangers

Spotlight.

Beale will already have in his mind who will be moving on and who he will want to come in and strengthen the squad with transfers in our sights now.

The Scottish Premiership is practically over after the 3-2 defeat against Celtic, with the Scottish Cup needed to make some sort of a success of this season.

Ross Wilson will very much come under the microscope with his business too, although Bennett is unlikely to make any huge changes immediately after moving up.

Park has left his power behind at Ibrox, but there will be some big calls to make for those at the top with a new era certainly beginning at the start of next season.

One look at the squad and anyone will know that a large handful of players need to leave, and that will be first on the agenda before any incomings are sorted.

A big task ahead.

In other Rangers news, another Ibrox exit may be on the cards after a major revelation recently which could force the clubs to part ways with a senior player.
