Jeff Stelling reacts to Rangers loss v Celtic live on Sky Sports in latest Old Firm
Jeff Stelling has shared his instant reaction to the “huge” Rangers defeat to Celtic on Saturday 08 April in the latest Old Firm at Parkhead.
The popular Sky Sports host did single out James Tavernier for his efforts as he went to 100 goals in a Blue shirt with his free-kick and header in either half.
Celtic are now 12 points clear in the Scottish Premiership with the title as good as gone, with the Scottish Cup potentially only left to play for now.

Speaking live on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday [08 April, 15:00], Stelling reacted to the latest edition of the Old Firm this afternoon in another disappointing afternoon.
“In Scotland, a huge step towards the Premiership title today,” he said.
“Celtic beat Rangers by three goals to two, they maintain their 100% home record this season. James Tavernier scored both Rangers goals, he’s got 17 for the season and 100 Rangers goals in total, but it was to no avail to them.”

Main Man.
Forget about the result, the league season was over.
It is all about Tavernier with his two goals taking him to 100 in what is an absolutely sensational achievement which we may never see again anywhere in the world.
The first was out of this world with his dead ball ability unreal as he curled over the wall before it smashed off the crossbar and into the net behind Joe Hart.
Tavernier then burst into the box and headed home to show the likes of Alfredo Morelos how to do it after other chances went begging throughout.
Michael Beale will of course take the positives from the game, with certain players moving on this summer to make room for some fresh faces and ideas.
Rangers did dominate though before that happens, so the early signs are already looking good with Tavernier once again at the heart of that as he is so many times.
