Rangers official partner sends Douglas Park message amid Ibrox exit
Rangers’ official partners Four Lads Had A Dream have sent Douglas Park a message after he stepped down from his role as Ibrox chairman.
The club confirmed on Tuesday afternoon (4 April) that Park would be standing down after nearly three years leading the Scottish giants.
Four Lads Had A Dream have since reacted to the news and thanked Park for his “investment and service” to the Gers.
“Thank you Douglas Park for your investment and service to Rangers football club,” wrote the Rangers blog (via Twitter, 4 April).
Wow
The news of Park’s departure comes as a huge shock and perhaps a sign of things to come. Fans have been demanding change and perhaps their wishes have now been heard. Park wasn’t necessarily the main problem, but fresh ideas at the top of the club could see wider change now occur throughout Ibrox.
With a crucial summer window ahead, the board and Ross Wilson must ensure they get every single decision right when it comes to Michael Beale’s squad overhaul. There have been some positive signs with the signings of Nicolas Raskin and Todd Cantwell looking to be smart additions.

However, with Celtic constantly improving, it’s up to the hierarchy to be proactive and give the former QPR boss the best chance of achieving success at Ibrox. With John Bennett now at the helm, all eyes will be on the new chairman and how he will try to lead the club moving forward.
In other Rangers news, a development at Ibrox worth nearly £2million to the club has come out on Monday evening.
