Rangers player ratings v Dundee United – Malik Tillman shines, John Lundstram woeful
Rangers continued their impressive Scottish Premiership form with a 2-0 win over Dundee United at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon [1 April].
Malik Tillman bagged a double – his sixth goal in his last six games to hand the Gers their fifth win in a row and their 13th straight Scottish Premiership victory to keep the pressure on league leaders Celtic.
Here Ibrox News rates the players out of ten for their performances at Ibrox on Saturday (1 April).

Allan McGregor – 6/10
Not much to do for McGregor on his 500th appearance for the club marking him as an Ibrox legend. He’ll be hoping for many more non-eventful appearances like this one as he enters well into his 40s. Evergreen.
James Tavernier – 7/10
Another player performing at the top of his game in a Rangers shirt. Another tremendous showing here showcasing his flawless creativity and final third imagination which has been crucial to their play under Beale. What a player.
Connor Goldson – 6/10
Had some uncomfortable moments during the game but was rarely troubled by the Dundee United attack as he and Ben Davies recorded a much-needed clean sheet. Won five of his eight ground duels, recorded 2 clearances and successfully completed three of his three long balls [SofaScore]. Good showing.
Ben Davies – 6/10
Like Goldson, Davies will be happy with another comfortable afternoon as Rangers steered to their 13th league win in a row. Decent showing on a day when was rarely troubled. Will be hoping for more games like this.
Borna Barisic – 6/10
A good outlet on the left-hand side with his crossing and attacking endeavour. An assist will have made it a great afternoon for the Croatian.
John Lundstram – 4/10
Arguably the Gers’ least effective player on the day. Looked comfortable in possession but his influence in his defending was nonexistent. Failed to win any of his four ground duels and was dribbled past two times. Beale will want more from his midfield enforcer.
Ryan Jack – 7/10
The better of Rangers midfielders in a complete performance in the middle. And it’s easy to see why Beale is desperate for Jack to extend his Ibrox stay. Quality player.
Todd Cantwell – 7/10
Cantwell is growing with every game in a Rangers shirt and his move to Ibrox is looking all the more impressive with every performance. Brilliant technical footballer.
Malik Tillman – 9/10
Six goals in his last six games now for the Gers’ man of the moment right now. In spellbinding form and thoroughly enjoying himself within a system that is certainly getting the best out of him. Credit to both Tillman and Beale for the work being done on the training pitch. Took his goals brilliantly and again, showing why he is arguably the club’s MVP right now.
Ryan Kent – 6/10
Still can’t find that elusive Rangers goal, and he’s failed to find the back of the net since January. Showed some nice touches on the ball but he is looking like a player with his head elsewhere right now.
Alfredo Morelos – 5/10
Not his day and is certainly looking closer and closer to the Gers exit door. Threw his arms in frustration in the first half and that’s a reflection of his showings in recent weeks.

Substitutes
John Souttar – 5/10
Scott Wright – 5/10
Fashion Sakala – 6/10
Antonio Colak – 5/10
Scott Arfield – 5/10
In other Rangers news, another Ibrox exit may be on the cards after a major revelation last week which could force the clubs to part ways with a senior player.
