Nicolas Raskin and Leon King ruled out injured – Confirmed Rangers team news v Dundee United
Rangers will be without Nicolas Raskin and Leon King for their Scottish Premiership clash with Dundee United on Saturday (1 April), Michael Beale has confirmed.
The Gers host the league’s bottom team at Ibrox this weekend, and will have a near full-strength squad for Beale to choose from following the international break.
But Belgium youth international Raskin will miss the game with a thigh injury while King is also out of the game with injury, but the rest of the squad are available for selection.
“We’ll be missing Raskin, he will be returning to training next week,” Beale said, as relayed by the official Rangers Twitter account (31 March).
“Next week, Raskin and Leon King should be available so we will get two more bodies back.”
Must win
It’s easy to say that every game right now is a must-win for Rangers now, but this falls into that category because of what is to come.
After a break it would be easy for standards to have slipped and the players not to be coming back fully motivated or having switched off a bit, but Michael Beale must show that he is able to get the cogs in the machine turning immediately.

Having players back from injuries and available to take part is a huge bonus of course, but it also sets the tone for the coming weeks where we’ll be facing off with Celtic twice in the coming month.
We must ensure that the gap at the top of the table is no more than nine points heading into next week’s Old Firm clash, and also show great professionalism by dispatching of the team currently bottom of the table.
Make a statement, do a job, get minutes in the legs of some players who have had a few weeks off and get the win. Then all eyes will be on Parkhead.
