Ally McCoist and Laura Woods destroy Rangers and Celtic after incidents live on talkSPORT
Ally McCoist and Laura Woods have condemned Rangers and Celtic after separate incidents were caught on camera over recent days.
First, Celtic fans were spotted launching missiles at Steven Gerrard at Anfield during a Liverpool legend match, and that was followed by Craig McPherson headbutting Celtic Women’s coach, Fran Alonso.
Woods insisted that rivalry is expected but this may have gone too far with McCoist agreeing and labelling both incidents as “really poor” to see with the spotlight on both clubs.

Speaking live on talkSPORT on Tuesday 28 March, as shared by the Glasgow Evening Times, Woods kicked off the section with a disapproving nod.
“I get it sometimes,” she said. “I am quite entertained by managers having arguments on the pitch, I always thought it was part of the game.
“I don’t think this is a part of the game. You blindside someone for a start, and come from behind.”
McCoist did not hold back either: “I have only just seen it.
“It’s really, really poor. With the greatest of respect, it’s not been a great two or three days for Rangers and Celtic, with what happened at the weekend and what happened last night.”

Not good enough.
It is simple, this is not good enough and something has to be done.
Sometimes it can be expected by fans, but even they should not be throwing missiles, but for a coach to get caught up in the row, that is mindblowing.
If this was the other way around, there would be outrage from the Ibrox support, so it cannot be any different when the shoe is on the other foot.
Although both have been called out at the same time, they are separate incidents and both must be dealt with in that manner, and both clubs must not condone it.
McPherson can expect serious action, with Police Scotland now investigating the footage, and Celtic fans must take a look at themselves in the mirror too.
The Old Firm debate is raging on about whether more fans should be allowed away from home again, but as long as incidents such as these continue, there is no chance that will be happening.
It is embarrassing, simply put.
In other Rangers news, another Ibrox exit may be on the cards after a major revelation last week which could force the clubs to part ways with a senior player.
