Pundit delivers verdict on Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack after Scotland reception
Barry Ferguson believes that Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack will surely be disappointed at the reception he got from some fans during Scotland v Cyprus.
Scotland won 3-0 on Saturday, 25 March, but Jack was subject to jeers from a section of the supporters.
His relationship with the fans has been tetchy for a while and things did not seem to improve over the recent international break.

Ferguson discussed this on Go Radio, “I only read it this morning as I didn’t notice it while watching the game. It is disappointing as you want to support your players and for me I think Ryan Jack is a massive player for Steve Clarke, I’m sure he will be disappointed but I think it was only a few fans.”
Disappointing
It’s baffling to see how some of the fans can be so tribal that they’re booing one of their own whenever they get the opportunity.
Since his debut for Scotland in 2017, Jack’s been subject to this sort of treatment from the fans and it’s gotten to a point where it’s ridiculous.
He’s not a bad player by any stretch of the imagination and justifies his selection each time with impressive performances for Rangers.

The 31-year-old has battled numerous injury woes in the past to be fit and in contention to be a regular for his national side.
Rather than applauding his efforts and enjoying his performances, this is how he’s treated and it’s really disappointing to see.
We’re hoping that it does not really get to him as these things can weigh down players mentally.
In other Rangers news, another Ibrox exit may be on the cards after a major revelation last week which could force the clubs to part ways with a senior player.
