Sir Kenny Dalglish drops Rangers ‘unrest’ claim amid latest Ibrox ongoings
Sir Kenny Dalglish has claimed it’s hard to know who to blame at Rangers with Ross Wilson currently in the firing line at Ibrox.
The Light Blues’ fans have made their feeling heard in recent weeks, with Stewart Robertson and Wilson at the brunt of their frustrations.
However, Dalglish has suggested it’s hard to blame the hierarchy when you don’t know the exact ongoings behind the scenes.

“Right now, there is a bit of unrest, and the likes of sporting director, Ross Wilson, and one or two of the hierarchy are in the firing line,” said Dalglish (Sunday Post column, 26 March).
“But it’s hard to know who to apportion blame to when the inner workings of the club aren’t known.”
Defining
This summer is a defining one for Wilson. The fans have made their feelings heard in recent weeks and he simply has to add quality to the squad during the off-season.
Michael Beale’s early additions do look promising, with Nicolas Raskin and Todd Cantwell already upgrading the squad. Three or four players of a similar calibre will see the Gers into a far healthier position heading into the new campaign.

Rangers are measured on how they shape up against Celtic and, at the moment, the gap to their Old Firm rivals is far too big. Despite Wilson not being able to impact much during the season, the sporting director’s fate could hang on the Scottish Cup semi-final at the end of April.
It’s looking like the Gers’ best chance of a trophy. Ending the season with no silverware is a prospect which cannot be contemplated, however, at the moment, it looks like a realistic possibility.
In other Rangers news, a furious row has developed as a result of clubs chasing a Gers ace.
