Rangers could sign up to 10 players this summer with first-team exits likely – Daily Record
Rangers could sign ‘close to double figures’ of players this summer with several first-team exits expected and Michael Beale already wanting to add five players.
Beale has recently said that he is confident that at least five new players will join the club this summer as he looks to bolster his squad, but admits that if anyone were to leave then they would need to be replaced also.
And according to the Daily Record (24 March), with the future of several first-team stars also up in the air due to their contract status it could be double figures of incomings during the transfer window.

“Given it looks more and more likely that Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos will be on their way and the future of the likes of Ryan Jack is up in the air along with veterans Allan McGregor and Steven Davis then we could be looking at a significantly higher number of,” he said.
“In fact, going on what Beale said then it could be close to double figures. It’s going to be a real summer of change at Ibrox, no doubt about it.”
Excellent
What Rangers need right now is a big overhaul of the playing staff, with too many players either past their best or not good enough to begin with.
The arrivals of Nicolas Raskin and Todd Cantwell have shown the level at which Michael Beale wants his squad to operate at, and they’ve both been excellent so there is trust that the manager will be able to identify the right players.

Obviously if players like Morelos, Kent, Jack, McGregor and Davis were to end up staying then there will be less incomings needed, but realistically we should be looking to replace the latter two and Jack shouldn’t be a guaranteed starter.
Add to that the likes of Filip Helander who doesn’t have a future at the club, and Glen Kamara who is far from guaranteed to be here next year either, there is certainly scope for a super busy summer window.
It could go either way, with the wrong players or no players coming in to replace outgoings, but we need the board and the manager to do the right thing and get it done.
In other Rangers news, one first-team player clearly has no future at Ibrox.
