Alfredo Morelos to join crisis club Sevilla from Rangers as pundit shares definite verdict
We’re delighted to welcome Tam McManus as our exclusive Rangers columnist as each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Ibrox…
Tam McManus can see Alfredo Morelos leaving Rangers to join Sevilla in the summer transfer window – as long as the Spanish side avoids relegation.
Morelos, 26, is out of contract this summer and Vamos Mi Sevilla have reported that a move to Andalusia is on the cards for the Colombia international.
However, Sevilla are in a surprise crisis right now with the 2020 Europa League winners 14th in La Liga and just two points clear of the relegation zone.

Jorge Sampaoli was sacked and replaced by José Luis Mendilibar earlier this month amid the speculation that Sevilla are in the hunt to sign Morelos.
With it looking as though Morelos’ time at Ibrox is all but over, McManus feels that a fresh start in the south of Spain would be ideal for the Colombian.
“It’s definitely a move that could happen,” McManus told Ibrox News.
“It’ll be a good move for Morelos.

“I’ve looked and Sevilla are struggling, they’ve written off this season.
“They are down near the bottom of the league so as long as they can stay up – they’ve just sacked their manager – that would be a great move for him.
“Sevilla are a big club in Spain and with a great pedigree in Europe.
“It’s definitely one that’s not going to go away over the coming weeks.”
Morelos has scored 10 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions for Rangers this season.
He’s not started since the Viaplay Cup final defeat to Celtic on 26 February when he reacted angrily to being substituted off by Michael Beale.
In other Rangers news, this Ibrox coach is being tipped to leave Govan for a “big club in England” as managerial speculation emerges south of the border.
