Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos set for transfer meeting in coming weeks as Galatasaray accelerate pursuit to sign him
Galatasaray will reportedly be accelerating their pursuit to secure the services of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos this summer.
According to Turkish media outlet Takvim [23 March], a meeting has been planned in the coming weeks to finalise the transfer.
The 26-year-old Colombian’s future at Ibrox appears to be sealed with his contract running out at the end of the season.

Should have left sooner
Rangers will pay the price for not deciding to cash in on Morelos sooner as he’s clearly a striker in demand who’ll guarantee goals no matter where he plays.
It’s been clear for months that he does not want to be at the club and they had the perfect opportunity to get money for him in the January transfer window.
However, as usual, the board did not do what they should have and eventually paid the price for it as Morelos will soon be a free agent.

They could’ve sold him for good money and bought another striker who could give Antonio Colak competition and be at Ibrox for the foreseeable future.
He would also get time to adapt to Michael Beale’s system and perhaps be considered to be a regular starter from next season.
It now remains to be seen if Rangers do actually sign a senior first-team striker or as usual Ross Wilson and co let the manager down.
In other Rangers news, a pundit with insider information at Ibrox has shared one condition that will make Douglas Park leave the club.
