Mateusz Zukowski set to return to Rangers amid Lech Poznan snub
Mateusz Zukowski is set to return to Rangers at the end of the season after being bombed out of Lech Poznan’s plans, according to the Daily Record.
The 21-year-old has featured just three times during the 2022/23 campaign after moving to the Polish club during the summer of 2022.
The Daily Record suggest (21 March) Poznan hold the option to buy the right back at the end of the season but that’s a scenario which seems “unlikely”.

It’s believed the chances of Michael Beale offering Zukowski a fresh start when he returns are slim, with James Tavernier and Adam Devine ahead in the pecking order.
Slim
The chances of Zukowski making an impact at Ibrox seem slim. He’s yet another example of a player who has been signed by Ross Wilson to not hit the heights expected. He only joined in January 2022, has made one appearance for the Gers, and is likely to be bombed out at the end of the season. It’s not a good look for the board.
This type of signing needs to become a thing of the past. Players who are signed need to make an impact. Beale’s first two additions have done just that. Todd Cantwell has been mightily impressive since moving to Ibrox and Nicolas Raskin has come with a big reputation.

We’ve seen what both players can do and if the Rangers boss can replicate something similar in the summer, there’s a chance the club could be in a far healthier position come the start of the 2023/24 season.
The fans have made their feelings clear after their protest before the Motherwell win, Wilson and Stewart Robertson don’t have too many chances left.
In other Rangers news, the board should now be feeling the pressure after images emerge from stands in 4-2 win over Motherwell.
