Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos tops Sevilla wishlist as Monchi keen on transfer
Sevilla sporting director Monchi is reportedly an admirer of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos and is keen on bringing him to Spain.
According to Fichajes.com [17 March], the Colombian is at the top of their wishlist as they’re looking to bring in a striker over the summer.
However, reports of him already signing an agreement with them are premature and thus far, no decision has been made.
Monchi pull?
Monchi is widely regarded as one of the brightest names in football and has been billed a “genius” in the transfer window for the way he’s built teams.
He is known for his data-driven approach and without signing big names or shelling out too much money, he’s gotten teams to levels they never thought they would reach.

Morelos is a man in demand but the fact that Monchi is in Sevilla could be a deciding factor as he can make them a Champions League outfit.
As of now, they are a Europa League side but winning that competition could see them qualifying for Europe’s elite.
Even if they don’t, there appears to be a proper plan behind the scenes in order to get there and Morelos would surely be tempted.
It seems clear that he does not want to sign a new deal at Ibrox and the sooner this soap opera is over, the better and Michael Beale can then plan on who he wants to bring in to replace him.
In other Rangers news, a pundit with insider information at Ibrox has shared one condition that will make Douglas Park leave the club.
