Barry Ferguson expects Alfredo Morelos to leave Rangers after Michael Beale comments, swaying towards Ryan Kent exit too
Barry Ferguson believes Alfredo Morelos is “100%” done at Rangers after Michael Beale’s latest comments following the 3-0 win over Raith Rovers.
The Colombian was left out of the Rangers side for a third straight game as Antonio Colak continues to impress, with Beale admitting he needs to see more from Morelos if he wants to get his place back in the side.
With his current contract at Ibrox set to expire in the summer, Ferguson believes that’s a sure-fire sign that he is set to leave the club and told GoRadio (13 March) that he doesn’t think he’ll be the only one.

“I think Morelos 100%, I watched Michael Beale’s interview after the game, it looks as if it is curtains,” he said.
“Ryan Kent, I’m still unsure. I’m swaying towards he will leave but if they agree a new contract with Ryan Kent I will be more than happy.”
Time to go
Morelos is a Rangers legend and will go down for many as one of the best strikers we’ve had in the modern era, but it’s time to go.
The 26-year-old has clearly fallen out of love with the club, and even the return of Michael Beale hasn’t been enough to get him back to his best which saw him linked with big-money moves away for years.

The fact he is available for free in a few months and there has been limited speculation about any potential new club speaks volumes about how much his stock has dropped in recent years.
With no new deal on the table to even be considered yet, it seems certain that he’ll leave and everyone can finally move on from the eventful spell he’s had.
As for Kent, it seems more likely that he sticks around with him still being a key figure in the side under Beale and talks confirmed for later this month.
