Chris Sutton sends latest Rangers jibe to Ally McCoist on BT Sports
Chris Sutton has not forgotten to send his latest Rangers jibe at Ally McCoist on Friday 10 March, despite them not even being relevant to the conversation.
McCoist won the Pundit of the Year award at the latest SJA Sports Journalism Awards, leaving behind other candidates such as Sutton himself.
The former Celtic man could not help himself when saying it was nice for someone associated with the Bears to finally win something this year after the latest cup final disappointment.

Speaking on BT Sports’ Scottish Football Extra, as shared on Twitter, Sutton left McCoist and Darrell Currie in raptures with his latest jibe towards the Ibrox club.
“Fair play to you, Ally,” he said.
“I’ll tell you what is great, it’s great for someone associated with Rangers to actually win something.”
Embarrassing.
To say that everyone jumped on the bandwagon and told Michael Beale he was wrong to bite back at Sutton in recent months, it was the pundit who continued the war of words yet again.
Of course, getting those replies is exactly what he wants and right now, everyone at Rangers will likely be keeping their mouths shut, waiting for the next slip-up across Glasgow.
It is hard to fight back when things are not going your way in the silverware department this season, with the ViaPlay Cup final loss and the Scottish Premiership looking lost already.
Obviously, it is light-hearted fun but when it comes out of Sutton’s mouth, it is hard not to want to see that smile wiped off his face with some Rangers dominance.
That time will come, with Beale building something special hopefully at Ibrox, especially if that commanding win over Hibernian is anything to go by throughout the week.
Let’s not bite, just yet.
In other Rangers news, one pundit has hinted at a key exit from Ibrox this summer as “drama” elsewhere could play a part in his future.
