Michael Beale is getting the best out of Fashion Sakala at Rangers – Scott Allan

Scott Allan has lavished praise on Rangers forward Fashion Sakala and believes that Michael Beale is finally getting the best out of him at Ibrox.

The Gers continued their unbeaten run in the Scottish top flight under Beale’s stewardship with a 4-1 win over Hibernian on Wednesday night [8 March] thanks to goals from James Tavernier, Sakala and a brace from Antonio Colak.

Whilst Colak may take the headlines with his two goals, it was Sakala who proved the decisive factor on the night for the Gers and Allan praised the player’s ability to create and score goals.

Speaking to Sky Sports Scotland [9 March], Allan said: “I think he has been the key player for Rangers over the last few months.

“I think Michael Beale is definitely getting the best out of him.

“He looks a real threat whether that’s creating and getting goals now and teams are really struggling to find a way to stop him.”

Unplayable

Sakala was absolutely unplayable against Hibs on Wednesday night registering a goal and two assists to take his goal contributions to five goals and six assists since Beale walked through the Ibrox doors in November.

The Zambian international has instantly become a key man for the Gers, especially with the futures of Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos looking terribly uncertain beyond this summer because of their expiring contracts.

Rangers

The player’s searing pace and attacking unpredictability easily make him a guaranteed component in Beale’s setup for the long term, and he’s a player the former QPR boss should be looking to build around, especially if Kent and Morelos leave this summer.

Sakala holds a big future at Ibrox and he’s certainly showing he possesses all the tools to become Beale’s most important player for this season and beyond.
