Kevin Williamson rages at ‘scum’ Rangers fan as image shared v Hibernian from stands at Easter Road
Kevin Williamson has called Rangers fans at Easter Road “scum” as they tried to disrupt Hibernian’s tribute to late owner Ron Gordon on Wednesday night.
As Sunshine on Leith was sung in tribute to Gordon, who died last month at the age of 68 while receiving treatment for cancer.
A minute’s applause in tribute to Gordon was marred at the Viaplay Cup final last week and similar scenes were on show at Easter Road on Wednesday (8 March).

Rangers fans once again sang through the tributes to Gordon, leading to Hibs-mad author Williamson hitting out at the away support.
Williamson tweeted an image of Rangers fans setting off flares and captioned it by simply saying: “Scum.”
Grow up
If Rangers fans want to see the issues within Scottish football stop then they need to stop making the issues themselves because this is just downright disrespectful and disgusting.
Hibs aren’t our big rivals but even if this was Celtic, it’s unacceptable.
Signing the songs that were sung while a group of fans paid tribute to their club’s owner after he’d died is just ugly and it’s why this football club is widely hated across Scottish football.
There’s no time for whataboutery here – this is our issue.
What will it take to stop it from happening?
Firstly, the club need to do something.
We saw last week how Erik ten Hag and Jurgen Klopp came together to tell Manchester United and Liverpool fans to stop mocking tragedies that happened to both football clubs.
Rangers need to do something here.
Secondly, these fans themselves need to grow up and realise how pathetic they are. Other fans should try to police it too but that’s easier said than done, understandably.
