Rangers transfer news as Chris Jack predicts significant decisions in coming weeks
The Glasgow Times journalist Chris Jack believes Michael Beale will have to make decisions on numerous Rangers players’ contracts in the coming weeks.
Jack confessed Beale will be counting down the days until he gets the chance to make some “significant” changes at Ibrox after his solid start to life at the helm.
Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent are just two of the names who are out of contract at Rangers this summer and are two talents who could well leave Ibrox.
“Beale issued a defiant answer of ‘100 per cent’ when asked if he could get Rangers back to where it needs to be after the summer and is confident he is on track to deliver silverware sooner rather than later,” said Jack as quoted by the Glasgow Times. (6 March)
“Beale will have to make decisions on the futures of a handful of out-of-contract players in the coming weeks as he counts down to the chance to make more significant changes at Ibrox.”

There is definitely a bit of discontent flying around Ibrox right now and questions have been raised since Rangers’ poor ViaPlay Cup final outing v Celtic.
It highlighted the gap between Rangers and their bitter rivals, putting even more pressure on the board and Beale to get things right this summer.
The Englishman will need to be given funds to do so however and this is something the board have failed to do in recent years which has resulted in Celtic moving ahead.
A lack of faith? Perhaps, however, the Light Blues faithful are just bored of hearing the same old story and it would be nice to see some real action in the transfer window.
Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin were a solid start to what can be done at Ibrox and it’s this kind of recruitment that will get Rangers back on par with Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Things can swing pretty quickly in the modern game and Rangers are by no means miles behind Celtic, nevertheless, getting this summer right is absolutely essential.
In other Rangers news, Michael Beale has dropped his biggest hint yet that one player could join Rangers in the summer.
