Rangers confirmed team news v Kilmarnock: Ridvan Yilmaz out, John Souttar in contention

Michael Beale has offered the team news for Rangers ahead of their clash against Kilmarnock on Saturday, 4 March after their loss against Celtic.

Beale will want his side to return to winning ways as they look to close the gap with the league leaders.

Ridvan Yilmaz has been making progress but is set to miss this game while John Souttar will be available after returning to training.

Via Gers’ official Twitter handle, Beale said, “No fresh injuries. Souttar has returned to the squad. Ridvan probably needs a bounce game before he can return in the coming weeks.”

Must win

Morale surely must be down at Ibrox as it should be after losing a cup final against Celtic that they had a good chance of winning.

Beale deserves some blame for it as well as his team selection raised a number of eyebrows and eventually cost Gers the game.

They’re now playing catchup not just in points but also in terms of quality as it’s evident that the squad isn’t good enough.

The best way to get the confidence back is to win games and it doesn’t matter who the opposition is, they cannot afford to just keep playing the way they way.
