Douglas Park lies already unravel at Rangers after his Ibrox plan fails at first hurdle
Douglas Park is yet again in the middle of a pack of lies at Rangers and Ibrox.
It is not the first time that his words have been unravelled, but the latest set of promises look to have collapsed in record time after the 2-1 defeat to Celtic in the ViaPlay Cup final.
In the latest AGM held by the club, Park promised in his plans to reinvest in the squad, make it as successful as possible and continue to win silverware.
“The plan for the next five years is to win as many trophies as we can,” he said. “To build a team that can go and win as many games as we can, and reinvest in the club as much as we possibly can.”
This all clearly went out of the window back in January, which led to it also collapsing on the pitch at Hampden Park against our oldest bitter rivals.
Our only January signings sat on the bench as Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin were forced into small roles, rather than being put into starting spotlight.
This comes after Michael Beale promised the club were signing players who could start straight away.

Rubbish.
These AGM meetings just get more embarrassing with each passing year, with Ross Wilson also defending his signing of John Souttar from Hearts despite his dismal injury record.
Park is the master and conductor at Ibrox though, and his words hurt more than most, as he continues to fail the fans with his decisions from the very top.
How are we still going into finals with the same players that were at the club more than five years ago? Of course, the odd one or two is natural, but most of this squad are past their sell-by date.
That’s where it comes down to reinvesting into the squad, something that Park promised, yet here we are with only two new signings compared to Celtic, who have basically started again by backing Ange Postecoglou.
The lies have started to unravel already, and maybe quicker than Park expected as the walls close in.
