Rangers attacker Josh McPake could be set for summer transfer amid trio of clubs keen

Rangers attacker Josh McPake could be on his way out of Ibrox in the summer as the race appears to be heating up for this services.

The 21-year-old appeared to be leaving the club in January itself but that move did not happen and he’s currently out on loan at Queen’s Park.

Football Scotland reported on 21 January that the Gers are actively looking to offload the young winger once the transfer window opens.

They also claim that Linfield are keen on signing him and even sent scouts to watch him take on Raith Rovers on Friday, 17 February.

However, they clearly would not have been happy at the fact that he was on the bench despite starting the last 10 games for them.

He’s had disciplinary issues at the club and that’s not a good look for a player aiming to become a Rangers first-team player in the future.

They clearly would not have been impressed by his conduct and the chances of him leaving in the summer appear to be pretty high.

Gateshead and Yeovil Town are also showing an interest in his services and the Gers surely do not seem like they’re keen on keeping him beyond this season.

He had been sent out on loan to impress by playing regularly, but that clearly has not happened and it makes sense for the two parties to part ways.
