Rangers fans prepare banner as they take aim at Nicola Sturgeon during Livingston clash

The travelling Rangers support v Livingston prepared a banner to take aim at Nicola Sturgeon after she announced that she’ll be stepping down as First Minister.

Gers won the game 3-0 courtesy of a brace from James Tavernier as well as a late goal by Kemar Roofe.

During the game, Rangers Review journalist Jonny McFarlane shared of video of the banner that they displayed in the away end.

It read, “Years of lies and corruption. Most drug deaths in Europe. NHS crippled. Union maintained. Thank you Nicola.”

Spot on

Sturgeon and the Rangers fans have a decorated past, to put it mildly, and some kind of scathing message was expected.

She announced her decision to step down earlier this week and the supporters used the very next game to make their voices heard.

As many expected, it was an ironic “Thank You” and surely they cannot wait for a change of leadership and a new First Minister.

Coming to the performances on the field of play, things started slowly, but there were plenty of positives to pick up from it.

At the same time, there’s still work to do as not everyone appears to be on the same page and the game against Celtic will be the real test.

Rangers will surely be fancying their chances against their arch rivals and it remains to be seen how that one pans out as all eyes will be on it.

In other Rangers news, the club are in line for a multi-million windfall from the Premier League after a £10m Auchenhowie milestone was reached.
