Rangers fans unfurl banner v Livingston as they take dig at Michael Beale
Rangers fans have unfurled a banner during the Livingston clash on Saturday to take a dig at manager Michael Beale for his decision v Partick Thistle.
Beale told his players to allow a goal to be scored after his side unsportingly scored their second goal via Mallik Tillman.
It did not count for much as they went on to win the game 3-2, but it’s still something that’s being discussed in Scotland.
Via Twitter, BBC journalist Jane Lewis shared the banner and Jordan Campbell from the Athletic wrote, “The Union Bears just unveiled a banner while signing the Tillman song: ‘Two trophies in eleven years. Uphold the standards that matter’.
“A dig at Beale for his decision to let Thistle level up the score last week.”
Embarrassing
Beale has enjoyed such a good start at Rangers and the team are playing good football and he’s improved the performances of a few players as well.
He’s unbeaten in 13 games and the fans should be singing his praises from start to end rather than unfurling banners for his decision to allow a goal to be scored.
They did not deserve that goal against Partick to stand and Beale gave it away knowing and backing his team to score another goal.

He did the right thing and these fans protesting it are an embarrassment and that’s why the club gets a bad rep in the media.
Hopefully, they do not speak for the majority of the fanbase as most fans applauded Beale’s decision to allow the equaliser to be scored.
Rangers also need to ensure that they get the job done in this game and pick up the three points with Celtic appearing to be on course to winning their match as well.
