Rangers: Ally McCoist weighs in on Michael Beale and Chris Sutton drama
Ally McCoist blasted the “unbelievable” antics of Chris Sutton and Rangers manager Michael Beale after the pair’s bizarre spat this week.
Beale alluded to Sutton being the worst-ever player to play for Chelsea and aimed a brutal dig at the BT Sport pundit on 16 February.
Sutton responded on Twitter to the Beale remarks in true Sutton style by saying “the dog barks but the caravan keeps moving” a day later on 17 February.

“It’s unbelievable frankly, I’ve got to say,” exclaimed McCoist live on BT Sport’s Scottish Football Extra. (17 February)
“I was looking forward to a quiet day and the headlines that greeted me were frankly remarkable.
“This fellas taking it to a different extreme, he’s fallen out with everybody, what’s going on?”

Popcorns out.
Rangers fans just sit back and enjoy this hilarious Friday evening entertainment and Sutton has been left absolutely riled by Beale’s remarks.
It’s crazy that Beale even felt the need to make the subtle dig at Sutton but for the entertainment value alone, it was totally worth it.
Whether or not Beale has had a slap on the arm behind the scenes remains to be seen and it does seem like a slightly out-of-character move from the Rangers boss.
Nevertheless, for all the stick and criticism Sutton loves to lament Rangers with week in, and week out, he deserved to be publically called out by Beale.
This whole scenario makes the upcoming ViaPlay Cup Old Firm final clash against Sutton’s beloved Celtic just that bit tastier and it could be the perfect opportunity for Beale and Rangers to stick it to Sutton once again.
The cup final will be Beale’s first chance to gain some silverware as Rangers boss.
